About Us

Our surgeons Ruwan and Palan are a highly experienced and  professional team with a combined experience of 40 years in managing gallbladder and hernia problems.

We specialise in all conditions relating to hernia and gallbladder. The surgical procedures offered are performed laparoscopically (key-hole) or by open procedure. We also offer latest techniques such as component separation and injection of Botox for complicated large hernias.

Midland Hernia and Gallbladder Clinic is a specialist private practice conveniently located within St John of God Midland Private Hospital. As the specialist practice is located within the St John of God Midland Hospital, pathology and radiology services are conveniently available within the same premises.

Patients can be seen and assessed in our clinic within 2 weeks with surgery offered within weeks if required.

The surgical procedures will be performed without a gap (no gap) by the surgeons and anaesthetists for privately insured patients. This means there will not be any extra cost charged to patients by the surgeons and anaesthetists.
